This last sector of Via Algarviana continues into Sudoeste Alentejano and Costa Vicentina Natural Park, one of the most rich and beautiful protected areas. Along the path, the hiker can find many indigenous plants, unique coastal landscapes and, with some luck, can see some rare and typical birds of this area, like the Red-billed Chough (Pyrrhocorax pyrrhocorax) and the Peregrine Falcon (Falco peregrinus).
