Ravine of Quebradas: On the passage of the ravine of Quebradas, as you arrive in the beach of Telheiro, you’ll have to go down a wooden ladder. Go slowly and carefully.
Alternative route marking and hard terrain: After passing the Telheiro beach ravine, the route is marked with cairns. Walk with the utmost attention, in order to follow the correct, single and recommended trail. If you can, put back fallen stones and rebuild the cairns. On the last 500 m, before joining the Historical Way, the trail follows on hard and stony ground.
Refreshments along the way: With the exception of the final part where you reach the lighthouse, you will not find any refreshment points along the way. You should carry water (1.5 L minimum) and sufficient supplies.
